Gaining Geographic Competency

Course Description: "Location, location, location!" In real estate, location is the single most important factor in determining property value. This course emphasizes the critical importance of understanding the market and neighborhood of a property. You will explore the concept of competency—what it means, why it's essential, and the steps required to achieve it, especially in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Through hands-on exercises and practical applications, you will also work to gain geographic competency in a new market, equipping you with the skills to assess and adapt to different real estate environments with confidence.


Mastering Market-Based Adjustments

Through hands-on exercises and expert guidance, attendees will gain the competence to perform complex calculations and critically evaluate the reliability of data and their adjustment results. To reinforce theoretical concepts, participants will engage in multiple comprehensive case studies throughout the training. Leveraging Aloft's innovative Appraiser Toolkit, participants will expedite the analysis process, gaining practical experience in real-world scenarios.
